We are a family-owned home visiting Occupational Therapy service. Our aim is to empower individuals to be able to do the things that are important and meaningful to them in everyday life.

We work one-on-one with all our clients, in their own homes to develop a personalised plan to suit their circumstances, their environment and their individual needs. We offer a variety of services to help support the individual to maximise their independence and get the most out of life. We are located in the Western Suburbs, servicing Perth and surrounding suburbs.

Can an Occupational Therapist help me?

Occupational Therapists are an integral part of your care. We consider the whole person looking at your needs, your environment and any barriers you may have to participating in what is most important to you in life. Our goal is to enable and empower you to participate in everyday activities.

Supportive Occupational Therapy Services can provide a tailored assessment and support plan specific to your needs. We may work with you to relearn a skill, find a new way to complete a task or adapt the task using equipment and rails. We are committed to assisting you achieve your goal.

Driving Assessments at Supportive Occupational Therapy Services

At Supportive Occupational Therapy Services, we understand how vital driving is to independence and quality of life. Our goal is to help clients drive safely and legally for as long as possible.

We provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy Fitness to Drive Assessments for individuals impacted by medical conditions, disabilities, injuries, or age-related changes. These assessments are performed by Occupational Therapists with national certification in driver assessment and include:

  • Off-road assessment: An evaluation of vision, movement, strength, sensation, coordination, reaction time, cognitive function, and understanding of road rules.
  • On-road assessment: A practical driving assessment conducted in a dual-controlled vehicle to observe real-world driving skills under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist and driving instructor.

Whether you’re returning to driving after a medical event or managing ongoing health changes, we’re here to guide you through the process with expertise and care.
